Super Eagles Coach Rohr Receives Good News From Moses Simon On Fitness
Published: October 02, 2016
True to his word, Nigeria international Moses Simon has returned to full fitness ahead of the national team’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia in seven days time.
The exciting winger was named in the starting line-up as Gent suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Club Brugge on Sunday in the Belgian First Division A .
Simon, 21, was unavailable for selection since September 15 when he sustained a hamstring complaint in his team’s 1-1 draw with Sporting Braga in the Europa League, prior to today’s contest at Jan Breydel Stadium.
His return to fitness would be good news to Super Eagles coach Rohr, who is sweating on the fitness of Chelsea winger Victor Moses ahead of the trip to Ndola.
Moses Simon was in action for 79 minutes before making way for fellow Nigeria international Rabiu Ibrahim. Gent number 44 Anderson Esiti played the full game.
