Fifa Write Raja Casablanca To Provide Evidence Of Payment Of Osaguona Ighodaro Wages
Published: October 06, 2016
Football’s governing body, Fifa, has written to Moroccan club Raja Casablanca, asking for evidence of payment of entitlements to Nigeria international Osaguona Ighodaro.
After unilaterally terminating his contract with Raja, the former Enugu Rangers star appended his signature to a 1+1 year deal with KV Mechelen just before the close of the summer transfer market, but has yet to make his competitive debut because his International Transfer Certificate has not been released.
“Osaguona is in Belgium, he can only train with KV Mechelen for now. The Belgian Federation wrote to their Moroccan counterparts for the release of his ITC but they refused, ”a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“KV Mechelen are doing everything possible to get the paperwork in place. Raja claim they are not owing Osaguona, so Fifa asked them to provide evidence that his salary was paid.”
Ighodaro, 25, claims he is being owed six months wages by Raja Casablanca plus sign-on bonus.
On top of that, the Botola Pro outfit have not remitted the sum of 150,000 euros to Enugu Rangers, being the transfer fee agreed between both clubs, and 50,000 euros agency commission.
