Nigeria failed to get past the first round of the 2016 FIFA U17 Women’ s World Cup after they were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by their North Korean counterparts in a Group C encounter at the Amman International Stadium on Saturday.
A hattrick from R. Hae Yun was the flavour that the Asian side needed to overpower the tactically deficient Flamingoes.
Coach Bala Nikyu’ s girls failed to score and bagged just one point, thus summing up a poor tournament for the Rasheedat Ajibade captained team.
