Leicester City Coach Hails Performance Of Exciting Nigerian Winger

Leicester City Assistant Under-23s coach Ben Petty has reflected on the club’s 3-2 win over FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday afternoon, and special praise was reserved for Nigerian winger Layton Ndukwu.
The Foxes registered their first win in the UEFA Youth League on match day three thanks to two brilliant goals from Ndukwu.
“I’m delighted with Layton because we’ve really given him a challenge in the last couple of games,”Ben Petty
told Leicester City’s official website.
“He was brilliant for the Under-23s against Chelsea on Friday and today he showed how good he is one-on-one and technically.
“That’ll give him a real boost moving forward because his two goals were fantastic. It gave the team a real boost.”
Ndukwu, 18, has been named in the Foxes starting line-up in their first three matches in the UEFA Youth League.
