Exciting Nigerian Winger Trains With Liverpool For The First Time This Season
Published: November 14, 2016
England youth international of Nigerian ancestry Sheyi Ojo participated in full training with Premier League side Liverpool at Melwood on Monday morning for the first time since August.
The winger sustained a back injury in pre-season, then suffered a relapse in September which had kept him out of action.
Last season, Ojo made 11 appearances in total for the first team of the Reds, scored one goal and provided four assists in those games.
Midfielder Ovie Ejaria will resume full training with the first team in the coming days after helping England U20s finish the Continental Cup in South Korea in second place.
Liverpool, who top the Premier League standings, travel to the South Coast to face Southampton this weekend.
