The central defender is expected to return to parent club Gent following the expiration of his loan deal with Norwegian club FK Haugesund.

There is a lot of interest in Troost-Ekong from unnamed clubs in the English Premier League and German Bundesliga.

The 23-year-old numbers Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham, FC Groningen and FC Dordrecht among the clubs he represented before he transferred to Gent in the summer of 2015.
