Spurs Midfielder Dele Nearing Full Fitness But Doubtful Vs West Ham
Published: November 17, 2016
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has provided an update on
the fitness of England international of Nigerian descent Dele Alli,
ahead of the visit of West Ham to White Hart Lane on Saturday.
The attacking midfielder missed the North London derby versus Arsenal and was not involved in England’s matches against Scotland and Spain during the international break due to a knee injury.
“We’ll see – Dele is recovering well from his injury,” said Mauricio to Spurs official website.
“We need to assess him tomorrow but we are very happy with how he is recovering. For Toby, Ben and Lamela, we expect them to need more time to be available to play.”
Alli has 14 appearances to his name this season and has scored 3 goals in all competitions.
