With six weeks left before the opening of the January transfer window, Nigerian defender Tobi Adebayo-Rowling is delighted to be linked with a move to the English Premier League.
Both Sunderland and Crystal Palace are hoping to tie up a deal for the Sligo Rovers right back, who was recently named the most outstanding talent at The Showgrounds.
Adebayo-Rowling has pledged his international future to Nigeria ahead of England, and a shift to the Premier League will enhance his prospects of representing the Super Eagles.
“I am very happy, of course, as anyone would be attracting interest from such big clubs especially, ” Adebayo-Rowling told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“But I’m focused with Sligo Rovers at the moment.”
Described as a modern day fullback, Adebayo-Rowling is contracted to Sligo Rovers until the end of the 2017 season.
