Super Falcons Join Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Ronaldo In New Social Media Craze Mannequin Challenge
Published: November 18, 2016
The Nigeria Football Federation has uploaded a 19-second clip of the Super Falcons involved in the new social media craze, Mannequin Challenge.
In the short clip, all the players, who wore branded Adidas tracksuit tops with matching shorts, remained frozen, and the funniest part was FC Minsk Belarus defender Onome Ebi refusing to give up the bottle she was drinking from.
Several celebrities Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Cristiano Ronaldo and Michelle Obama have taken part in the Mannequin Challenge, where people remain frozen while the video is recorded.
Away from the Mannequin Challenge, the Super Falcons are back in business, with a training session held in Buea on Friday morning, ahead of their opener against Mali at the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations.
Ghana and Kenya are the other teams in their group.
