Etebo Responds To Spurious Monaco Link : I Have Not Been Contacted

Shortly after stepping out of the Estádio Marcolino de Castro pitch on Thursday night, Super Eagles rising star Oghenekaro Etebo responded to spurious speculation linking him with a transfer to Monaco in the January transfer.
Whist it is known that a number of French Ligue 1 clubs have tracked the C.D. Feirense midfielder in the last one year after displaying his wares at the African U23 Cup of Nations, they have not yet firmed up their interest with a concrete offer, and he confirmed as much when quizzed.
“I have not been contacted by Monaco or any of their representatives, ” Etebo briefly told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Warri Wolves product has a valid contract with C.D. Feirense until the summer of 2018.
Etebo put in a full shift against Pacos de Ferreira tonight.
