Published: December 23, 2016
Former Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike will arrive in Russia on December 25 for contract talks with Spartak Moscow, according to the striker’s intermediary.
Erden Konyar has told Sportfakt that his client is visiting the Russian capital to negotiate with the leadership of Spartak over a loan deal until the end of the 2016-2017 season.
Fenerbahce are willing to terminate the contract of Emenike and allow him join the Russian Premier League club as a free agent but want his salaries to be paid by his new employer.
The ex-West Ham forward was banned from training with other first team players last week for breach of discipline.
In ten outings in the Turkish Super Lig this term, Emenike has scored three goals.
