Nigerian Andres Iniesta On The Radar Of Barcelona

Former Golden Eaglets and Dream Team VI trainee Nansel Selbol has been proposed to European heavyweights Barcelona with a view to a transfer in the near future, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

In recent months, the Sporting Kansas City teen sensation has been scouted by individuals with close ties to the Camp Nou side.

Barcelona are believed to be in the market for a player in the mould of Andrés Iniesta to play for their B Team (someone who can beat an opponent and initiate attacks), and the scouts reckon that Selbol fits the bill and have recommended him to the Spanish champions.

The young star had a breakout season in 2016, and the highlight of his performance was netting on his CONCACAF Champions League and Sporting Kansas City debut in October.

He will train with the first team of Sporting Kansas ahead of the new season.
