CSKA Moscow Hoping To Use Transfer Loophole To Sign Celtic Target Onyekuru - Report
Published: February 11, 2017
Russian champions CSKA Moscow are ahead of their Scottish counterparts Celtic in the race for the signature of Nigerian talent Henry Onyekuru, according to reports.
Authoritative Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws claims that the Army Men have an advantage over their competitors, with the Russian transfer window still open for business until February 24.
Onyekuru has been a revelation in the Belgian First Division A in the ongoing season, with 10 goals from 23 matches.
The Aspire Academy product has not found the net for relegation-threatened Eupen since he attempted to engineer a move to Celtic in the January transfer window.
The attacker has a contract with Eupen until the summer of 2020.
