Super Scout Who Spotted Kante: Ademola Lookman Is The Future Of Everton

Everton Director of Football Steve Walsh reckons that the performance of England U20 international Ademola Lookman will attract more outstanding youngsters to the club.
Lookman joined the Toffees from Charlton Athletic in the January transfer window and has been involved in every single game in the Premier League minus last weekend’s clash at Tottenham Hotspur since his debut versus Man City.
“Ademola’s the future. He’s come in and done well but he’s still got a lot of development to do, ” Walsh told Everton’s official website.
“But putting him and Tom Davies in the first team sends out the right signals and really does help when it comes to attracting more young players to your football club.
“Even the best talents are interested in Everton. You get a pathway through to the first team which you might not get with another club.”
Walsh has worked as a scout for Bury, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Leicester City, and spotted Jamie Vardy, N’Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez before they were signed by the Premier League champions.
