Arsenal Target Henry To Earn N236 Million More Than Enyeama (Per Season) If He Joins Nice?
Published: June 05, 2017
French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice are hoping to beat their more illustrious rivals Arsenal to the signature of in-demand striker Henry Onyekuru in the summer transfer window.
If we are to believe scorenigeria.com.ng, OGC Nice are willing to pay Onyekuru £40,000-a-week (equivalent of N978 million per season in Nigerian currency).
“Nice have joined the race to sign Henry (Onyekuru). Their offer on Saturday will pay him like £40,000 a week,” a source close to Onyekuru said.
It is also claimed that Premier League duo Swansea City and West Ham have tabled offers that will pay him in the region of 35,000 pounds every week.
Henry Onyekuru will become the best paid Nigerian player in France ahead of Lille's Vincent Enyeama (who earns 1.8 million euros per season) if these claims are true and his move to The Eaglets materializes.
The 20-year-old will pocket N235.7 million more than the former Nigeria skipper.
