Chelsea Working On Deal To Sign One Of The Most Promising Midfielders In England
Published: August 06, 2017
Chelsea have set the ball rolling in their bid to sign one of the most promising youngsters in England, Oliver Pendlebury.
According to the electronic edition of The Sun, the Blues are set to raid Reading for England Under-16 star Oliver Pendlebury.
Oliver Pendlebury was a member of the England U16 squad at the International Tournament in Scotland in July 2017, though he didn't make the starting line-up in the matches against Uruguay, Scotland and Qatar.
If Reading receive a big offer from Chelsea for the 15-year-old, they will not be hesitant to sell the midfielder.
Chelsea will improve their home-grown situation if they snap up Pendlebury, with as many as twenty-four of their first-teamers classified as Non HGP.
