Monaco Star Of Nigerian Descent Linked With Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool Offered N38.3B Wages By PSG
Published: August 11, 2017
Monaco striker of Nigerian descent Kylian Mbappé's annual wages will be increased twenty-fold if he joins Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to reports.
Fresh information suggest the transfer of the most promising teenager in world footballer is not a done deal, as the Principality outfit are holding out for 200 million euros transfer fee, while PSG have offered €155 million to secure his signature.
Mbappé currently takes home approximately €900,000 every season at Monaco, and he has been offered a contract with a salary of €90 million (N38.3 billion) over five years (or €18m per season), according to French sports daily L'équipe.
The UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations is an issue in the transfer of Mbappé, with the arrival of Neymar to cost €500m, and they will have to sell some of their top stars including Jesé, Ben Arfa, Krychowia, Aurier, Matuidi and Lucasto in order to balance their books.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool also tried to sign Mbappe this summer.
The 18-year-old finished last season with 26 goals in all competitions and was named in the Ligue 1 and the Champions League teams of the season.
