Bursaspor Hoping To Sign 'Norwegian League Neymar' Samuel Adegbenro - Report
Published: August 11, 2017
Bursaspor have not yet finished their transfer business regarding Nigerian players this summer, and are hoping to convince the highly-rated young striker Samuel Adegbenro to join the Turkish Super Lig club.
The former Kwara United star comes off contract with Norwegian Tippeligaen outfit Viking at the end of next season, and has turned down their proposal to sign a new deal.
Eurosport Norway is reporting that Viking have proposed an agreement with a total transfer fee of 2 million euros ( an outright sale of €1.5m and the rest in bonuses depending on number of games played and if Bursaspor qualify for a European competition).
Bursaspor face competition from Malmo for the signature of Adegbenro, who has been labelled the Norwegian League Neymar, but the bid from the Swedish giants did not meet his valuation.
Bursaspor recently completed the signing of Nigeria national-teamer Mikel Agu, who joined the club on a season-long loan from Porto.
