Italian Serie A club Torino are on the brink of announcing the capture of Nigeria U23 international Umar Sadiq.
The very reliable transfer market exponent Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the 20-year-old Roma frontman will join Torino on a season-long loan, subject to a medical on Tuesday.
At the end of the 2017-2018 season, The Maroons can acquire Sadiq on a permanent basis for six million euros, while Roma have inserted a buyback option set at 8 million euros.
After helping Nigeria's Dream Team VI finish third at the 2016 Olympic Games, the Football College Abuja product was loaned out to Bologna FC 1909 last season.
Sadiq defended the colours of the youth team of Spezia before his shift to Roma in 2015.
