Djurgarden Shopping For Loan Club For Nigerian Striker Garba
Published: August 23, 2017
Swedish Allsvenskan club Djurgården are planning to loan out Nigerian striker Haruna Garba before the close of the transfer window.
The 23-year-old has struggled for game time after his move in March 2017, with only five appearances off the bench in the league.
''We are talking to Haruna and have explained that competition may be too hard this fall. It is very possible that he is lent before 31 August,'' sporting director Bosse Andersson told fotbolldirekt.se.
He added that DIF are not presently negotiating with any club over the signing of Haruna.
The Nigerian played in Malta for Hamrun Spartans and Lithuanian team Kruoja before his shift to Djurgården.
