Published: August 24, 2017
French Ligue 1 moneybags Paris Saint-Germain F.C have agreed a deal with Monaco to sign France international of Nigerian descent Kylian Mbappé.
The very reliable French sports daily L'Equipe is reporting that the discussions between the capital outfit and Monaco for the transfer of Mbappé have made significant progress, but a PSG player must agree to move to the Principality club for the transfer to be concluded.
PSG need to balance their books or they will be punished by UEFA for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations after the signing of Neymar from Barcelona for €222 million.
Lucas, Julian Draxler or Javier Pastore could be used as a makeweight in the deal bringing Kylian Mbappé to the Parc des Princes.
The 18-year-old Mbappé, who is regarded as the most promising teenager in the world, was courted by Europe's elite clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid before he chose PSG.
