Man Utd, Chelsea Target Set To Complete N10.9 Billion Move To Spurs After Passing Medical
Published: August 26, 2017
Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain F.C have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ivory Coast right back Serge Aurier, according to Sky Sports.
The transfer is set to become official in the coming hours and would be in the region of 23 million pounds (N10.9 billion) after the 24-year-old defender passed the medical examination in France on Friday.
Manchester United and Chelsea were contenders for the signature of Serge Aurier before he agreed terms with Spurs.
The stumbling block in his proposed move to Tottenham is that he has been forbidden from entering England after he was sentenced to two months in jail for elbowing a police officer.
Aurier defended the colours of Lens and Toulouse before he was acquired on a permanent basis by PSG in 2015.
