The Ibadan-born starlet was initially included in the provisional roster, and is one of the eight players placed on the standby list.
The 18-year-old Adekanye has not featured for the Dutch youth teams since he suffered an ankle ligament injury while on international duty with the U17s.
The Netherlands U19s face Belgium on August 30, Portugal September 1, before wrapping up their friendly schedule against the host county on September 4.
Adekanye has yet to feature for Liverpool U23 team in the Premier League 2 in the new season.
