Published: September 25, 2017
Two Nigerian youngsters have been nominated for Hull City's Man of the Match award on the back of their impressive display as the Tigers were held to a 1-1 draw by Reading on Saturday afternoon.
Chelsea loanees Fikayo Tomori and Ola Aina are in the running for the award along with striker Fraizer Campbell and midfielder Seb Larsson.
With only one hour left before the end of the Twitter Poll, the two defenders are lagging behind Manchester United product Fraizer Campbell, who has garnered 53 percent of the total votes.
In second place is England U20 World Cup-winning defender Tomori, who has the support of 18 percent of Hull City fans, while Super Eagles hopeful Aina is fourth with 14 percent.
Ola Aina has started every single game played by Hull City in the EFL Championship, nine in total and lasted the distance in each game, while Tomori has three games under his belt but bearing it in mind he only arrived the club after the first international break of this season.
Three minutes from time, Böðvarsson scored the Royals equalizer off an assist from Super Eagles striker Sone Aluko.
