A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective
clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, October 21.
Nigerian players with dual nationalities that have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.
In the early kickoff, Chelsea came from behind to beat Watford 4-2 at Stamford Bridge. Nigerian pair Victor Moses and Isaac Success did not feature for their respective teams due to injury.
Pedro Rodriguez opened the scoring, then Abdoulaye Doucoure and Roberto Pereyra scored to put the Hornets 2-1 up, before goals from Michy Batshuayi (2) and Cesar Azpilicueta secured a win for the defending champs.
Both Tosin Kehinde and Matthew Olosunde were not in Manchester United squad that surprisingly lost 2-1 to Huddersfield Town at John Smith's Stadium.
