Aston Villa Are Prepared To Break The Bank To Sign Onomah

Aston Villa have been impressed with the performance of England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder of Nigerian descent Josh Onomah, and are interested in the permanent acquisition of the player.
Onomah was loaned out by Tottenham Hotspur for the entirety of the season in the summer transfer window as manager Mauricio Pochettino wanted him to continue his development after helping the Young Lions with the U20 World Cup in South Korea.
The 20-year-old earned Steve Bruce's praise after his man of the match performance against Fulham on Saturday.

''But we know Spurs have got a very good player there.''
Onomah has been involved in 14 competitive matches since completing his loan move to Aston Villa.
The Londoner is one of the young English-born players on the radar of the Nigeria Football Federation ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
