Eagles Star Ahmed Musa Reacts : No Contact Again With Hull City
Published: November 04, 2017
Speculation that Ahmed Musa has agreed to join Hull City in the January transfer window is wide of the mark, with the striker reiterating that contact has not been established again with the Tigers.
The Championship side had explored ways to sign the Nigeria international in the summer transfer window, but the transfer did not happen as he did not want to make a move that will see him play for a club a division below the English Premier League.
''Musa is not joining Hull City yet, no contact has been established yet with Hull City,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
When Musa made the move to Leicester City in July 2016, no one doubted his quality and what he could achieve at the Foxes, having scored goals aplenty for CSKA Moscow (54 goals and 29 assists in 168 games).
But as it turned out, the number thirteen has been starved of first team opportunities since the start of 2017 and a permanent or temporary departure from the King Power Stadium in the next two months can't be entirely ruled out.
The 25-year-old is contracted to Leicester City until June 2020.
