Ex-Flying Eagles skipper Abdul Ajagun will be hoping that he did enough to impress scouts of top European teams that watched him action last weekend against Mechelen.
Scouts in Attendance is reporting that scouts representing Newcastle United, Valencia, Benfica and Sevilla ran the rule over the top talents on both teams, including Burkinabé wonderkid Hassane Bandé, who tallied his ninth goal in eleven games against Ajagun's team.
PSV Eindhoven Director of Football Marcel Brands was also among the 12,553 spectators at AFAS-stadion Achter de Kazerne (Mechelen), and monitored Ajagun for 61 minutes before he subbed out.
The former Dolphins star has been one of the most important players for Kortrijk since his arrival as a free agent in the summer, starting all their fourteen matches in the Belgian First Division so far.
Kortrijk are struggling in the league but Ajagun's career is back on track after ending his association with Panathinaikos.
