Ahmed Musa Explains Why He Can't Join Hull City Now : They Are A Championship Club
Published: November 13, 2017
As correctly reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa has confirmed that he is finding it difficult to agree a switch to Hull City because the club play in the English second-tier.
Musa has an excellent relationship with the Tigers coach Leonid Slutsky, his former mentor at CSKA Moscow, and will consider the possibility of playing under his guidance again in future.
''Slutsky for me is a father. And we are always in touch, we communicate warmly. This coach has always helped me to feel confident, to believe in my strength,'' Musa told sport-express.ru.
''And he really calls me to Hull City. I just can not physically tell him No. Perhaps in the near future again I will play for his team.
''The problem is Hull is in the Championship. It is for this reason that it's hard for me to decide. ''
Ahmed Musa is currently in Krasnodar, Southern Russia, ahead of Nigeria's friendly against Argentina on Tuesday, November 14.
