Published: November 18, 2017
Ahmed Musa has stressed that he does not regret joining Leicester City but has admitted that it was a difficult decision to leave CSKA Moscow.
The Nigeria international hopes to return to Moscow to play for the Army Men in the near future, but a transfer to rivals Spartak is out of topic.
Speaking to Sport Express Russia, Musa said : ''Difficult question. It was a hard decision. But it was a step forward. And I decided to take the risk and do it.''
''No, about Spartak- it's out of the question. I'm a fan of CSKA! But I hope to return to CSKA one day. If there is a real opportunity, I will immediately agree.''
On his lack of playing opportunities at Leicester City, the Super Eagles star is working hard to return to the starting eleven.
He stated : ''It happens. I'm training hard, trying to show my best game. Of course, I'm not completely satisfied with the current situation, but football is a complicated thing. On a new place often it is necessary uneasy.''
The 25-year-old is contracted to Leicester City until the summer of 2020.
