Klopp Hints Solanke Brightened Chances Of Making England Squad With Display

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has hinted that Dominic Solanke brightened his chances of being named in England squad list for the 2018 World Cup after starring against Stoke City in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
And the German revealed that the Golden Ball winner at the 2017 U20 World Cup should have capped off his fine performance with a goal against the Potters.
''He should have scored! A fantastic boy, well deserved and I am really happy for him that he could do that. He is a fantastic player,'' Klopp told liverpoolfc.com.
''He can improve in pretty much everything, but he is already a good player. That’s probably the best news. I am really happy I could give him this opportunity tonight.
''He has to work like all the others, but everybody who is with England looked tonight and thought, ‘oh, that looks good’. He is a really good player.''
Solanke, who remains eligible to represent the Super Eagles until at least the next six months, made his debut for England's senior national team in a friendly against Brazil this month.
