Chelsea Star Victor Moses Set To Celebrate Two Milestones In December 2017
Published: November 30, 2017
Fit again Nigerian Player of the Year Victor Moses is in line to celebrate two milestones next month.
The Blues number number fifteen needs seven more appearances for Chelsea to reach the milestone of 100 games for the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Moses joined Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2012 for a fee in the region of ten million pounds, and has racked up 93 appearances to date for the capital outfit, including Wednesday night's 1-0 win against Swansea City.
Chelsea have nine more matches before the end of the calendar year against Newcastle United, Atlético Madrid, West Ham United, Huddersfield Town, Southampton, AFC Bournemouth, Everton, Brighton & Hove and Stoke City.
As a result of Moses not being one hundred percent match fit, it is not a foregone conclusion that he would meet the target number before the end of 2017.
The former Crystal Palace wonderkid will join the 200-game club in the Premier League if he makes three more appearances for Chelsea before the year runs out.
Shola Ameobi, Kanu, Yakubu, John Obi Mikel, Joseph Yobo and Victor Anichebe are the players classed as Nigerians that have made more appearances than Victor Moses in the Premier League.
