Nigerian Striker Scores First Goal For Liverpool On Full Debut

Nigerian striker Rinsola Babajide netted on her full debut as Liverpool advanced to the quarterfinals of the Women's FA Cup with a 3-0 win over Chichester City Ladies at Oaklands Park on Sunday afternoon.
The England youth-teamer ended her association with Watford Ladies on the final day of the winter transfer market by signing a deal with The Reds.
Babajide had come off the bench in previous matches against Arsenal and Manchester City before she was handed her first start by Liverpool Ladies manager Scott Rogers against Chichester City Ladies.
On 34 minutes, she repaid the faith shown in her by the coach when she slotted past Wilson-Blakely to open the scoring.
Hodson doubled the advantage in the 40th minute before England made it 3-0 two minutes after the interval.
A delighted Babajide tweeted after the game : ''Happy to have played my first 90 mins for @LFCLadies & to get on the scoresheet on my FA Cup debut. Good to get the win under tough conditions & back in the 🎩 for the quarter finals ❤️🙏🏾 #GTG''.
Aged 19, Rinsola Babajide previously represented Millwall Lionesses Ladies and Crystal Palace Ladies .
