NFF, Enyimba Send Their Condolences After Passing Away Of Champions League Veteran

The Nigeria Football Federation and Enyimba have offered their condolences following the passing away of Kano Pillars defender Chinedu Udoji on February 18, 2018.
According to a press release by Kano Pillars, Udoji was killed in a car accident which happened along Club Road in Kano after visiting his former teammates at Enyimba.
The 28-year-old went the distance as Pillars were held to a 1-1 draw by Enyimba in the Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday.
The Nigerian Federation tweeted : ''The demise of @pillarsfc defender Chinedu Udoji comes as a rude shock to us this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and club. May his soul rest in peace. #RIPUdoji.''
Enyimba added : ''We are distraught at the news of the passing of club legend and former captain, Chinedu Udoji. Our commiserations are with his family at this time.''
Chinedu Udoji was one of the most experienced CAF Champions League players in this land, with at least 19 games under his belt and wore the captain's armband at least 11 times while representing Enyimba in the competition.
