Ex-Everton Star Amokachi: Why Harry Kane Is One Of The Best Strikers In The World
Published: February 21, 2018
Ahead of the Super Eagles international friendly against England on June
2, former Everton star Daniel Amokachi has rated Tottenham Hotspur's
goal machine Harry Kane as one of the best strikers in the world.
The ex-Nigeria international has said that Everton's Oumar Niasse has the traits required to be a a top striker as he gets into goal-scoring positions just like Kane.
''If you get a chance and don’t hit the back of the net, then you forget it and focus on the next chance,'' said Amokachi to Everton's official webpage.
''That is what makes Harry Kane one of the best number nines in the world. You remember the game against Liverpool at Anfield [when Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 with Liverpool earlier this month] – he missed a penalty, another one came in the last minute and he took it and scored.
''That is the kind of spirit Oumar has, and that is what you want to see from a striker.''
Amokachi scored 14 goals in 54 games for Everton after joining from Club Brugge in July 2014.
