Nigeria U23 international Umar Sadiq has been named to the Team of the Week for the latest round of matches played in the Dutch Eredivisie.
On his full debut for NAC Breda, the Roma loanee shone in his side's 2-1 win over champions Feyenoord on Saturday and the striker's performance earned him a spot on Voetbal International's Team of the Week.
Umar was not initially named in NAC Breda's starting line-up against Feyenoord but had to replace Mitchell te Vrede, who got injured during the warmup.
In addition to his goal in the 49th minute, the Dream Team VI star was also involved in the build-up to NAC's equalizer scored by Manchester City loanee Thierry Ambrose.
In a 3-4-3 formation, the 21-year-old spearheaded the attack and was flanked by Bryan Linssen (Vitesse) and Alireza Jahanbakhsh (AZ Alkmaar).
He has now scored 3 goals in five outings for NAC Breda since he joined the club on loan in the January transfer window.
A product of Football College Abuja, Umar was Nigeria's joint-top scorer at the 2016 Olympic Games with four goals.
