In-form Nigeria international Oghenekaro Etebo another another feather to his cap by bagging his first-ever assist in Las Palmas's 2-1 loss to Celta de Vigo on Monday night.
The CD Feirense loanee, who has been praised for his work ethic since his arrival in Spain, started his sixth straight game but was deployed as an attacking midfielder vs Celta de Vigo, just like on his debut against Malaga.
Erik Exposito opened the scoring at the Estadio Balaidos after he was fed by Etebo in the 53rd minute.
But the home team fought back, first scoring through Jonny before Pablo Hernandez's 89th minute winner.
Etebo finished the game with three tackles, two blocked shots, two interceptions and had a passing accuracy of 83.9 percent.
The Canary Islanders have recorded one win, three draws and two losses in the six matches the Super Eagles star has been utilized.
They face Villarreal in their next fixture on Sunday, March 11.
