Madrid CFF Wonderkid Maria Okoye On Target As Spain U17 Thrash Israel 7-0

Madrid CFF wonderkid Maria Okoye was on target as Spain demolished Israel 7-0 in a UEFA WU17 Euro Elite Round match staged at the National Team Complex - Shefayim on Thursday, March 8.
The striker scored with a sumptuous volley to make it 5-0 in the 50th minute after an inviting cross from the skillful number eighteen Eva Maria Navarro.
Born July 31, 2001, Maria Isabel Okoye Robles is still eligible to represent the Super Falcons as her father is Nigerian and she has not played competitively for Spain's senior team.
This season, the 16-year-old has made four appearances for the first team of Madrid CFF in the Primera División Femenina and was included in the match day squad seven times.
Maria Okoye represented Spain at U16 level before she was promoted to the U17s, the number nine could be one of the stars to watch at the 2018 FIFA U17 WWC in Uruguay if Spain qualify for the tournament.
There is another Spanish-Nigerian player that turns out for Spain's youth team, Andrea Okene.
Okene is on the books of Levante UD (second team) in the Spanish Second Division and has been capped by Spain at U16 level.
