Chelsea's Nigeria International Defender Rejects Move To Preston North End

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo turned down an opportunity to remain in England in the summer transfer window.
The central defender would have been playing for Preston North End not Kasimpasa this season but negotiations with the English Championship club broke down over the player's wage demands.
Omeruo would later complete a season-long loan move to the Turkish Super Lig club, who offered him a higher pay than the wages proposed by The Lilywhites.
The 24-year-old previously spent one and a half seasons at Middlesbrough, for whom he made 36 appearances in all competitions, but has been loaned out to Turkish clubs in the last three seasons.
Before embarking on his latest loan move, he penned a new deal tying him to the Premier League champions until the end of the 2019-2020 season.
The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles star has yet to debut for Chelsea's first team since his arrival at the club in January 2012.
