TEN Manchester United Players Set To Depart Club In June
Published: March 19, 2018
As many as ten Manchester United first-team players are set to depart the club, as per reports in the United Kingdom.
The Mirror claims Luke Shaw is one of a number of players set to leave this summer along with veteran duo Michael Carrick and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
With United's elimination from the UEFA Champions League, realistically the only trophy they can win this season is the Emirates FA Cup and they have been handed a tough tie against Tottenham Hotspur in the semifinal.
Manager Jose Mourinho is not too pleased with the club's under-performing stars and believes it's time to remove the deadwood.
The other players being linked with a departure from Old Trafford are : Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian, Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Chris Smalling.
Luke Shaw was verbally attacked by Mourinho last weekend, after the 2-0 victory against Brighton, with the Portuguese saying he cannot defend well.
