Leicester City Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi Provides Fresh Update On Liverpool Link
Published: March 20, 2018
Speculations at home and abroad that Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is on his way to Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window are wide of the mark.
Liverpool are thought to be in the market for a central midfielder with Germany star Emre Can yet to sign a new deal that would keep him at Anfield beyond the end of the 2017-2018 season.
The Reds should look elsewhere for that reinforcement as Ndidi has pledged his commitment again to Leicester City.
''Ndidi is happy at Leicester City, he is one hundred percent committed to Leicester City and it's confirmed he's not leaving the club to join Liverpool,'' a top source who spoke to the Super Eagles star told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''Liverpool have not contacted him about joining the club.''
The Foxes number 25 was in Leicester on Monday ahead of his trip to Wrocław to link up with his international teammates for their friendly against Poland.
The 21-year-old Ndidi is contracted to Leicester City until June 30, 2022.
