Musa, Uche, Onazi Link Up With Super Eagles, Players Depart Hotel 1500 Hours For Training
Published: March 20, 2018
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that three more players have linked up with the Super Eagles at their Radisson Blu Hotel, Wroclaw camp, ahead of their first training session on grass in the afternoon.
The last batch of players to join the team are CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa, Standard Liege midfielder Uche Agbo and Trabzonspor star Eddy Onazi.
Musa and Onazi were on target for their respective clubs in the last competitive games, with the striker opening his account for CSKA Moscow against Lyon in the Europa League, while Uche was absent against Genk due to a yellow card suspension.
There are now eighteen players in camp, including the new arrivals, but the snag is that only one goalkeeper is presently with the team, Deportivo de La Coruña's Francis Uzoho, and it is one hundred percent confirmed that Chippa United's Daniel Akpeyi is not joining the squad today.
Based on the Super Eagles schedule, the players and officials will leave the Radisson Blu Hotel for their first training session on grass at 1500 hours, three and a half hours before the Polish national team are expected to begin training at the same stadium, old Śląsk Wrocław Stadium, Oporowska street.
Nigeria will take on Poland in their second pre-World Cup friendly at the Municipal Stadium on Friday, March 23.
