Ndidi In The Top Five Of The Most Talented Young Players At 2018 World Cup
Published: March 22, 2018
Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been included among the top five talented young players that will feature at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Italian outlet SportMediaset listed the Super Eagles star, Federico Valverde (Uruguay / Deportivo), Dimitri Oberlin (Switzerland / Basel ), Hirving Lozano ( Mexico / PSV) ) and Aleksandr Golovin (Russia / CSKA Moscow) as the five youngsters that will show off their qualities in Russia.
On Ndidi, Max Cristina stated : : ''The difference with Kanté is evident starting from the more slender physicality that makes him more active in pressing and more courageous in the insertions with or without the ball.
''The long legs allow important strides that make it a player to keep an eye on in the two phases.
''With Nigeria at the World Cup he could be a player to keep an eye on, the ones that the big clubs are always interested in, even if it takes a lot of money to get him from Leicester.''
Ndidi is presently with his international teammates in Wrocław ahead of Friday's pre-World Cup friendly against Poland.
