Confirmed: Kehinde Quits Manchester United, Joins Feirense After Impressing On Trial
Published: August 01, 2018
Nigerian midfielder Tosin Kehinde has finally quit Premier League giants Manchester United, allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed by his bonafide representative, Emmanuel Wonder Adewole.
Manchester Evening News has added that Kehinde has opted to sign a four-year deal with CD Feirense following a trial at the club.
It brings an end to wild speculation over his next employer, with reports linking him with teams in England, Scotland, Spain, France, Belgium and Austria.
At CD Feirense, Kehinde will link up with Nigerian U17 World Cup-winning goalkeeper Dele Alampasu and the young winger Iduitua David, who spent last season on loan at Gafanha.
Ogenekaro Etebo was a big fish at CD Feirense before agreeing a transfer to Stoke City this summer and Kehinde will be hoping to match the achievements of the Super Eagles star.
At the age of 20, Kehinde has yet to make his professional debut but could do so on August 12 when CD Feirense host Rio Ave in the Primeira Liga.
