Stoke City star Oghenekaro Etebo has stated that the Super Eagles will be fully prepared when they face Group E leaders in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying, Libya, next month.
Nigeria got their campaign back on track with a 3-0 rout of minnows Seychelles on Saturday and are now one point behind the North Africans in the group.
Etebo has explained why the Super Eagles have to qualify for the next edition of the Nations Cup scheduled to take place in Cameroon.
''It's an important game, we have won, we have collected three points, thank God for the victory, it's for us to look forward to the next game that is coming up in Nigeria against Libya,'' said Etebo to Brila FM.
''For sure, not only me, the entire team, we are going to prepare fully well because we need to qualify.
''We have not gone for two Nations Cup, so it is very important that we need to qualify.
''The turf is really a bad one but thank God all the same we won, we got the points that is the most important of all.'''
Etebo was the shock omission in the starting eleven on Saturday but was introduced off the bench as replacement for Kelechi Iheanacho in the 64th minute.
