Rohr Receives Good News From Udinese On Super Eagles Star Troost-Ekong
Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong is making good progress as he bids to return to action for his Italian club after the international break.

The former Gent and Bursaspor star had to withdraw from the Nigeria squad after suffering an injury in Udinese's 1-0 loss to Fiorentina on September 2.

Udinese have reported on their official website that Troost-Ekong underwent individual training on Monday along with Nicholas Opoku and Antonin Barak.

The Super Eagle has earned the trust of the Bianconeri Friuliani manager, Julio Velázquez, who has named him in each of the starting lineups for the first three matches of the new season.

Gernot Rohr will be delighted to see Ekong return to training as he is one of the players certain to be named on the roster for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.

Udinese and Torino face off at Dacia Arena (Udine) on match day four in the Serie A on September 16.
