Breaking: Super Eagles Have Landed In Monrovia Ahead Of Friendly Vs Liberia
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Super Eagles have just landed in the Liberian capital, Monrovia, ahead of Tuesday evening's international friendly against the Lone Stars.

The friendly has been organized by the Liberian Ministry of Youth and Sports to formally retire the number fourteen jersey which was worn by the current president, George Weah, during his playing career.

Today's match is expected to be graced by several ex-Liberia internationals that previously wore the number fourteen shirt.

Liberia manager Thomas Kojo invited 12 foreign-based players for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier vs DR Congo and the friendly against Nigeria, while coach Gernot Rohr can count on the services of 13 foreign-based professionals.

The Super Eagles thrashed Seychelles 3-0 in their last game, while their opponents today were forced to a 1-1 draw by DR Congo.

Nigeria have met Liberia on 13 occasions in the past, with the Super Eagles winning eight games, drawing two and losing three times.

In the latest FIFA Ranking, Liberia are ranked 158th in the world.
