Nosa Igiebor could bid farewell to Cypriot First Division club Anorthosis Famagusta in the January transfer window as he is attracting interest from several foreign clubs.
A return to his former club in Major League Soccer,Vancouver Whitecaps, is being mooted on the proviso that ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Carl Robinson is fired at the end of the season.
''Nosa has had an impressive season so far and as everyone knows he is an exceptional talent,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''A couple of teams have shown interest in him and he is just waiting for the January window to come up.
'Teams in the United States, Israel, Greece, Spain and a big club in Qatar are interested in signing him.''
Igibeor, who was the poster boy of the Nigeria U23 team that failed to qualify for the 2014 Olympic Games, began his professional career abroad with Lillestrom in Norway, followed by spells at Hapoel Tel Aviv, Real Betis, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Rizespor and Vancouver Whitecaps.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winning midfielder has a contract with Anorthosis Famagusta until the end of the 2018-19 season.
