A round up of the performances of Nigeria players in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, September 18.

In Group B, Inter Milan came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotpsur 2-1 at the San Siro thanks to two late goals from Mauro Icardi and Matias Vecino.  Christian Eriksen got the opener for Spurs seven minutes after the restart.

Luke Amos who trained with the London team on Monday presumably watched the game from the stands.

In a five-goal thriller at Anfield,  Liverpool beat French champions Paris Saint Germain 3-2.  England U21 star Dominic Solanke did not make the Reds match day squad for the sixth successive game in all competitions.

First half goals from Daniel Sturridge and James Milner were canceled out by Thomas Meunier and Kylian Mbappe, before substitute Roberto Firmino won it for Liverpool in the first minute of stoppage time.

In Group A, Club Brugge were beaten 1-0 by Borussia Dortmund at Jan Breydelstadion, with two Nigerians in action for the Belgian champions.

Dennis Bonaventure replaced Nigerian-born Netherlands U21 star Arnaut Groeneveld Danjuma in the 76th minute, nine minutes before Christian Pulisic grabbed the winner.

At the Türk Telekom Stadyumu (İstanbul), Brian Idowu was a surprise inclusion in Lokomotiv Moscow's starting lineup against Galatasaray as he was not involved in the first seven games in the Russian Premier League.

While the Super Eagles left back went the distance and picked up a 60th minute booking, Henry Onyekuru was sent on for the final eight minutes.

Garry Rodrigues, Eren Derdiyok and Selcuk Inan were on target for the Turkish powerhouse.

Finally, at the VELTINS-Arena (Gelsenkirchen) in Germany, Chidozie Awaziem was an unused substitute for Porto in their 1-1 draw against Schalke 04.

Breel Embolo opened the scoring in the 64th minute but Otavinho ensured Porto got a share of the spoils when he converted a spot kick with 15 minutes left on the clock.
