Ex-Tottenham Starlet Oduwa Ready To Fight For First Team Spot At Vejle
Tottenham Hotspur product Nathan Oduwa is determined to fight for a starting spot after completing a move to Danish Superliga side Vejle Boldklub.

Although the former Nigeria U23 international has not played in a competitive match since May 2018, he is not lacking in fitness as he had been training with Championship club Queens Park Rangers before his trip to Denmark.

Oduwa was presented on Friday and watched his new teammates play out a 1-1 draw with Randers in the league.

''The level is high and you can see that Vejle plays good technical football. However, I would say that it is more physical than I thought,'' says Oduwa to Vejle's Facebook page.

''I do not expect to go straight to the starting lineup. I'm going to fight for my place.''

Oduwa has a good curriculum vitae having previously represented the youth team of Tottenham Hotspur, Rangers, Peterborough United and Luton Town.

The 22-year-old made his debut for Nigeria U23s against Brazil in March 2016.
